You'll weave through valleys dotted with stands of ponderosa pine, their scent mingling with the dry earth. Expect some stretches of firmer, packed gravel, but be ready for sections that test your bike handling skills. It's a route best suited to those comfortable with fast, loose gravel riding on taxing terrain.
