%This route offers a mix of paved roads and double track, winding through the rolling hills of the Santa Cruz Mountains just south of Mountain View. Up Page Mill, along the ridge on doubletrack, and down a paved descent on Montebello Road alongside vineyards and wineries, to Steven's Creek Reservoir. Depending on the time of year, hot and dry, or verdant rolling hills. The ridge is quite exposed -- bring water!
